My passion is to help sellers in Columbia, SC and Lexington, SC price their properties correctly, stage, and properly market their homes resulting in faster and more lucrative sales. I have a 37 step system to ensure sellers get the best service and their properties get the maximum exposure to efficiently accomplish their selling goals.
In addition to working with sellers, I thoroughly enjoy working with buyers by educating, supporting, and guiding them through the home-buying process. I first have a very thorough buyer’s consultation which allows us to get acquainted. During this consultation I explain the law, the home-buying process, the necessary finances while learning the client’s wants and needs; this is a powerful combination that results in very happy home-owners as it can be seen by their testimonials.
Prior to being a Realtor® Luz was a manager designing computer systems for government agencies. During her tenure Luz interpreted the needs of system users into computer design specifications which prepared Luz to infer the needs of buyers and sellers through her counseling interviews. Luz decided to leave her 11 year consulting career to pursue her dream career in Real Estate. She joined Exit Real Estate Consultants because of their excellent reputation, state of the art technology and web-based system to attract buyers and sellers, and their extensive training opportunities. Luz actively invests in real estate and believes that owning investment property is an excellent way to save for retirement.
Luz holds a Civil Engineering degree and has a masters in Transportation Engineering from NJIT. In addition, she has extensive Real Estate training including but not limited to Real Estate Salesperson training, Real Estate contracts, Agency and Property disclosure, Ethics, Measurements and Valuation, Fair Housing, etc. In addition, Luz has earned the Home-Staging Specialist (AHS) Accreditation and has successfully helped clients stage their properties resulting in quicker sales at higher prices.
Luz is a member of the National Association of Realtors, South Carolina Association of Realtors, Central Carolina Association of Realtors, Hispanic Leadership Council, and Staging Specialist Council
During her time off Luz enjoys spending time with her husband Jim, and daughter Sophia; she also enjoys running and traveling.
